Dr. Brittany Gilbert, DVM
Dr. Gilbert joined the Companion Care team in 2017. She grew up in St. Mary’s County, graduating from Chopticon High School in 2009. She received Bachelor of Science degrees in Dairy Sciences and Animal & Poultry Sciences in 2013 from Virginia Tech. She graduated from the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Dr. Gilbert has had a love of animals since a young age and has always wanted to be a veterinarian. On the weekends she enjoys spending time with her family, disc golfing, reading, and watching Hokie sports. She currently lives with her husband, Russell, and rescue dog, Leia.
